New funding opportunity to expand research and conservation impacts at botanic gardens: The 2024 GGI-Gardens Partner Award program is now accepting applications (deadline: 17 Nov).

These awards will support herbarium and genetic tissue voucher collection of plant families and genera currently not represented in DNA banks. Applicants should represent a botanic garden and identify a recognized herbarium and GGBN-partnered biobank that will accept voucher material. Awards can support new collections from living collections already in a botanic garden or fieldwork to support new collections from wild populations.
